@HeathrowSpottingHD If you pull the camera out once the crew is seated for takeoff there’s really no way they can make you put it away

looks to be a few kt cross wind from the right (based on the Aileron position during the take off run).

@HeathrowSpottingHD yeah that’s absolutely true. I hide it under my leg when they do the ‘cross check’ and they don’t seem to have a problem with it…and its quite big :)

@safrica1234 @OFFICIALGEEMACBEE Yeah some Airlines are quite strict even when it comes to Cameras, although most are fine. Cabin Crew on Virgin had no problem, tbh it’s mostly down to the cabin crew!

@OFFICIALGEEMACBEE i wish the crew knew that, or that camera companys put a label on the camera to say that its ok to use.

@ariffkrk2 maybe there was a crosswind. I thought it was quite smooth, none the less.

@safrica1234 The reason they aren’t allowed is that in a crash the devices could fly about and kill people.

@safrica1234 cameras don’t interfere with the onboard GPS. Only devices that can send or receive messages are to be switched off.
