Get a cab to Victoria Station and get the Gatwick Express from there. That will save you heaps of cash and the possibility of getting cheated

if a train ride from gatwick to St Pancras was about 10 lbs, i guess cab ride would be round 50 or 60 pounds. It takes a while also do give urself 2 hours at least to get there !! Have a great trip. !

instead, you should take the Tube to Victoria station, get a train to gatwick. that would probably be cheaper and easier (no traffic)

Depends who you travel with. As you hinted you could travel with a rip off merchant.

    Don’t get a cab!
Take the tube to Victoria station and then take the Gatwick express. Cheaper & quicker.
